Admissions Process
Join the APDS Community. Be the Change.
Are You Called to Serve?
The APDS student feels called to pursue an intensive educational process in one of our fields of study. These programs include various interfaith/interspiritual certification programs, ordination, and our Master of Divinity and Master of Theology courses. APDS courses are self-paced and designed for students who live in the real world, with real responsibilities, and do not have the ability to pursue a degree in the traditional full-time fashion. Our academic staff and advisors are noted theologians, academics, ministers, and spiritual pastors. Together, they represent some of the world’s most preeminent thought and religious leaders today.
The APDS core tenant of growth is centered on our student experience. Through the transformative essence of the educational process, most students who enter one of the APDS programs find that what they thought they were going to do with their degree often changes as their program of study unfolds. APDS encourages students who apply to stay open to the process of intellectual and subjective integration. Feeling the call to change the world starts with letting the essence of sacred service change you.
A Non-Traditional, Heart-Centered Approach
All Paths Divinity School is not just another academic institution. In fact, it would not count itself as traditionally academic in its innovative holistic approach to spiritual education.
While there is actual rigor through the intellectual content of the program, we encourage independent thinkers, able to creatively think out of the box, able to harness and amplify their own unique voice and to unpeel deeper, and deeper layers of their own being in the ongoing fusion between their inner and outer selves.
We embrace creating independence and creative expressive possibility for all of our students, encouraging and supporting them to grow beyond the conventional educational models as presently practiced.
We see our students as already on their own unique human/divine trajectory before they come to us, and we see our role as spiritually companioning them through the All Paths journey.
Personal spiritual expansion is nurtured to embrace the pathless path to embodied love.
This requires surrender to the mystery of divine alchemy which is unique to each student.

Admissions Process
Since All Paths Divinity School does not require entrance exams such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, or GMAT, all incoming students are required to demonstrate readiness for collegiate-level study in an online environment which relies heavily upon writing ability, independent study, and sustained focus. Appropriate documentation will be requested as needed.
Applicants should ideally have a Bachelor’s degree. Occasionally we can evaluate an applicant based on relevant, practical, work/life, and spiritual experience. At a minimum, all applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, as earned through a high school equivalency test.
There are no residency or travel requirements for any of the programs. All courses can be completed in a location of the students choosing, whether at home or work or on holiday. Prospective students may enroll at any time and Academic Advisers are available year-round. We strongly encourage students to take the opportunity of attending at least one APDS Retreat through their experience in the program.International students are welcome from any country provided they can correspond in English and have well-developed writing skills. The technical requirements of an online program include students having their own access to E-mail, Internet, and a personal computer. It is also the student’s responsibility to obtain regular access to college-level library resources or electronic research equivalents.
